By accessing and using geo.fm ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

geo.fm is a free web application that allows users to discover and stream radio stations from around the world. The Service provides:

Access to global radio station directory via Radio Browser API
Interactive map-based exploration
Station filtering by genre, country, and language
Favorites and listening passport features (with optional account)

3. User Accounts

Account creation is optional. If you choose to create an account:

You must provide accurate information
You are responsible for maintaining account security
You must not share your account credentials
You must notify us of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the Service
Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access
Scrape or harvest data from the Service without permission
Impersonate others or provide false information
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Content and Copyright

Radio Streams: All radio content is provided by third-party broadcasters via the Radio Browser API. We do not own, control, or endorse the content of these streams. Copyright for radio content belongs to the respective broadcasters.

Service Content: The geo.fm interface, code, and design are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without explicit permission.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services:

Radio Browser API: Radio station data and streaming
Google Firebase: Authentication, cloud sync, and analytics (optional)
Cloudflare: Hosting and content delivery

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service actions or outages.

7. Disclaimers

AS-IS Service: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free service
Availability of specific radio stations
Accuracy of station information
Quality of audio streams

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, geo.fm and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

9. Data Usage and Storage

Local Storage: We store preferences and favorites locally on your device using browser storage.

Cloud Sync: If you create an account, your data is synced to Google Cloud Firestore. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Streaming: Radio streams consume data. We recommend using Wi-Fi for extended listening to avoid mobile data charges.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violating these Terms of Use or for any other reason.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and data, clear your browser's local storage or contact us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service operator is located, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

13. Geographic Restrictions

The Service is available globally. However, some radio stations may be geo-restricted by their broadcasters. We do not control station availability in your region.

14. Advertising and Monetization

geo.fm is currently ad-free. We reserve the right to introduce advertising, premium features, or subscriptions in the future. Users will be notified of any changes to the monetization model.

15. Intellectual Property

The geo.fm name, logo, and brand are protected. You may not use our trademarks without written permission.
